Here was a script with many questions but fewer answers. The scenario is familiar but the conclusions are ambiguous. All my boxes were being ticked. I had no doubt that this was a film that I wanted to be involved in. When you say yes to any project you take a risk, whether you are behind the camera or in front of it. Filipe Periera, Sound Designer and Dubbing Mixer on 'Cupid' and 'Already Dead'
Michael is a cool-headed, pragmatic director, who takes every department into consideration while on set. His approach to directing blurs the lines between the different departments, which, as far as I've witnessed, has nothing but contributed to the outcome of every project. As for Post, Michael allows me to create as much as I feel is necessary for each scene, while at the same time giving me detailed information about what he's expecting to hear in each scene, as well as what emotions and message he is trying to convey with the action on screen.
Posh Dinosaur has been everything I could ever ask for, as an independent production company. They give me a regular, constant flow of projects and a variety in genres, tones, projects and platforms where the the projects are shown to the public. All of this allows me greater creative flexibility, constant practice of my technical skill set and a public showcase of my work. When coupled with the great relationships I built with Michael and his approach to film-making, this makes Posh the ideal company for me to work with now and in the long run.

Working with Mike and Posh Dinosaur Productions on Cupid has been a great experience he is very passionate and focused, with a clear artistic vision. With a lot of knowledge and experience on both sides of the camera, this understanding, drive and ability to listen ensures that the highest quality of work is produced.
What struck me most about Mike initially was how extremely professional he is but also highly personable - a combination which allows you to feel grounded and trusting in him, the project and the team. I felt extremely relaxed and at ease with Mike and the team especially when we were filming some of the more explicit scenes, which is testament to them. Creatively Mike allows for a lot of freedom on set and with the character, trusting the actor to make the right decisions. He is very open and able to communicate clearly the intention for each shot or motivation for the character. He works collaboratively to ensure that everyone is not only working to the best they can but enjoying it too. Because of this focused and clear approach, we are able to work concisely and on tight time frames, without it being a problem.
As a fellow actor, Mike is very open and adaptable; you can trust him to work with you to develop the best from the scene, he gives a lot and it’s been a joy to act opposite him in Cupid. I always come away from filming having had an enjoyable and fun day and look forward to seeing the end results.
